Our Managing Partner Mary Grove is the Co-founder and Executive Director of Silicon North Stars, a nonprofit whose mission is to educate and inspire young Minnesotans from economically underserved communities towards futures in tech. Silicon North Stars guides rising 9th graders through a week-long tech bootcamp then offers four years of hands-on mentorship, education, and programming in the Twin Cities tech ecosystem as they prepare for college and ultimately futures in technology. The program has served more than 120 youth since 2013 and now includes a college scholarship program.
Our Managing Partners serve on the Forge North Leadership Council board of Forge North, a group made up of diverse networks across a big ecosystem - including entrepreneurs, investors, corporate & government innovators, and community builders. This Council helps steer and grow the efforts of Forge North, a movement to make Minneapolis-Saint Paul the best place to start and scale ventures.
